Sail Your Dreams.
date. 2020
This project aims to create an engaging and fun interactive installation that provides a soothing and nostalgic experience for individuals tired of their busy everyday lives. The installation features a basin filled with water and a paper boat on top, controlled by fans, sound sensors, and potentiometers. The goal is to allow users to navigate the hand-folded boat's movement using the fan's airflow, creating a tranquil interaction. Simply said, write down your dream on your paper boat and sail it! The fabrication process involves 3D modeling, coding, and wiring, with challenges in setting up two-step motors and ensuring water-tightness in the basin. The resulting interactive installation provides a platform for users to relax, reminisce, and explore their imagination in a chaotic everyday life.
